Do you know what your dental care costs?

A new Which report reveals wide variance in private dental charges...

Which magazine has recently undertaken a review of dental charges and the results make interesting reading.

According to Which, over half of the patients surveyed for the report said that the dentist's price list was not on display and 22% did not have the costs of treatment explained to them before treatment started.  The Care Quality Commission, who regulate dentist and other health providers, require all providers to be transparent in the information they provide about any fees, contracts and terms and conditions, where people are paying either in full or in part for the cost of their care, treatment and support.

You can read more about the survey in a recent Daily Mail article at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2916011/The-dentists-charge-1-100-350-treatment-warns-huge-variations-cost-private-work-finds-half-practices-not-price-list-display.html.

At AllClear, we are committed to ensuring that all of our patients are fully aware of the price of our treatments.  Our price list is displayed on our website and in the practice window and paper copies are available on request.  Furthermore, unlike most other private practices, all of the prices we quote and include any clinically necessary x-rays at no extra cost so the price you see is the price you pay.
